According to latest statistics, the number of individuals reaching 100 in the UK has doubled from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
From 2004 and 2024, the figure of male individuals reaching 100 has increased threefold from 910 to 3,100. Over the identical timeframe, the number of female individuals reaching 100 almost doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.
We are excited to receive stories from individuals who have reached 100, their family or friends, about what it has been like to live through the past century’s seismic events and changes.
